If you want to add an animation in your PowerPoint that is not supported by our plugin, you can still insert this by the use of a video, with hidden controls and auto play setting.
Step 1: Create the desired animation in PowerPoint
For the best outcome, you should first change the size of your PowerPoint to the size of your animation. Go to 'Design' > 'Slide Size' > 'Custom Slide Size....' > choose 'Custom':
Next you can add the animation that you'd like to use. For example the 'Wheel' animation.
Go to 'Animations' and click 'Wheel':
Step 2: Save this animation as a video
Once you're happy with the result, you can save the animation as a video.
Go to 'File' > 'Save as' > choose '.mp4' > enter a name for the file.
It could be useful to crop your video to the size of the animations. A good online tool for cropping videos is Ezgif.
Step 3: Insert the created video in your PowerPoint
Go to 'Insert' > 'Video'
If you want the video to start automatically you can change this option by selecting your video and going to 'Playback' > 'Video 'Options' > Start: 'Automatically'
Step 4: Hide media controls for your video
You can hide the controls of your video to make it look more like an animation.
Select your video and go to 'Slide Show', where you can un-check the box before 'Show Media Controls'.
If you want to check out our example with the wheel animation video, you can find it right here.
