In this article we will explain the different parts of the app for all 3 device options:
Most functionalities are the same however due to the different screen sizes, the layout and some options can differ.
1. Tablet
Once you've logged into the app, you will arrive on this landing page:
Where you can find
- Key publications: are the publications that the company has selected as most relevant or most important to your business on a daily basis.
- Settings:
- tap on the picture-icon to set your avatar picture,
- click on the settings-icon
- to choose your language and region,
- your first name and last name for personalized communications to customers via the Account Hub
- and set your default Account Hub invitation message.
- Custom buttons:
- to open another application / web page or
- when your enterprise is using the CRM integration, you can start a session with a selected customer.
- Newsfeed: internal messages are published here.
- "Recently viewed" to show the latest publications you have worked with
"New content" lists the last uploaded publications in the app. - Sync(hronization): will update your app when needed.
- Search: pull down the page to display the search bar and start typing.
- Menu buttons: will lead you to the libraries, your favorites and interaction insights (Account Hub activity and your own Analytics).
- Internal switch: to hide or display internal / confidential documents
To view all content you have access to, click on the libraries-icon:
You'll see all accessible libraries listed on the left.
For the selected library, you'll see the publications divided in collections on the right side of the app:
- Home button: to go back to the landing page.
- Show/Hide libraries: press this button to show or hide the list of libraries.
- Favorites: select publications to add to your favorites library. Discover more...
- Share publications via Account Hub: select publications to send by Account Hub to your customer. Discover more...
- Share publications via email: select publications to send by email to your customer.
- Sync icon: While the app is syncing, you will see the icon turning. You can press the icon to start the sync and update your content manually.
- Cover of the publication: tap it to open the publication. (Remove a downloaded publication by pressing the cover of a publication for 2 seconds and click "Remove content".)
When you tapped a cover, the publication will open and the publication toolbar will be displayed:

PDF documents have a few additional buttons:

The PDF annotations on iPad:
PDF annotations on Windows:
- Add comments
- Highlight important text
- Strike through text for quick feedback.
- Underline text
- Add your signature on any document in a few taps.
- Draw on any PDF
- Erase your annotations
- Add your own text
- Draw shapes
- Move an annotation
- Close the annotations view
You can save the annotated PDF to an Account Hub or send it by email (if enabled by your admin).
2. Smartphone
Once you've logged into the app, you will arrive on this landing page:
Where you can find the key publications right under the blue menu bar and the newsfeed on the rest of the screen. Clicking on a key publication or a news article will open up the details.
When you swipe to the right, you will also find the recently opened publications and the newly added content:
With the menu bar, you can go to the
- Libraries overview
- Settings
- Search function
- Interaction insights (Account Hub activity and your own Analytics).
When you tap the library icon, you will see all available libraries.
Click on the library name that you want to open.
Swiping to the right will lead you through the different collections of this library.
If you want to go back to the landing page, you can click on the enterprise logo at the right top.
The "internal switch" underneath the names of the collections will hide or show the internal / confidential publications.
At the bottom of the screen you can open up your favorites or send publications towards customers via the Account Hub or via email. The sync button at the right will sync the content when the app is launched. If you want to sync manually, you can always press the icon.
When you've tapped a cover to open the publication, you'll see the publication and the publication toolbar:

PDF annotations on iPhone are shown in the top bar:
- Add comments

As a note:
In the Android app there is no PDF annotations-button. To annotate a PDF there, you need to "long press" the screen to call up the annotations:
3. Web
Once you've logged in to the Web App, the landing page will appear.
Where you can find:
- Key publications: these are the publications that the company has selected as most relevant or most important to your business on a daily basis.
- Newsfeed: internal messages are published here.
- Sync(hronization): will update your content when needed.
- Search: click on the button to display the search bar and start typing.
- Internal switch: to hide or display internal / confidential documents.
- Menu buttons: will lead you to the landing page, your CRM integration - when your enterprise has one - and interaction insights (Account Hub activity and your own Analytics).
- Accessible libraries for you.
When you click on a library, you can see the publications on your right side - displayed in collections:
When you tap a cover, the publication will open. Once opened, this toolbar will be shown at the right top:
So that you can
- Show thumbnails to quickly jump to other pages
- Add the publication to your favorites. Discover more...
- Share the publication via Account Hub: Add it to the Account Hub and then send the Hub to your customer when you have added all relevant content
- Share the publication via email: Add it to an email and then send it to your customer when you have added all relevant content
- Open the history which will give you an overview of the previously visited publications
- Return to the landing page of the app
- Go to full screen modus for the publication
- Close the publication and return to your libraries overview
PDF documents have a few additional buttons:
- Open a side panel to quickly jump to other pages
- Browse through the pages
- Zoom in or out
- Change the page layout or rotate pages
- Change the page fit
- Search inside the document
- Go to full screen modus for the publication
You can save the annotated PDF to an Account Hub or send it by email (if enabled by your admin).
