In this article we will explain the different parts of the app for all 3 device options: 

  1. Tablet
  2. Smartphone
  3. Web

Most functionalities are the same however due to the different screen sizes, the layout and some options can differ.

1. Tablet

Once you've logged into the app, you will arrive on this landing page:

Where you can find

  1. Key publications: are the publications that the company has selected as most relevant or most important to your business on a daily basis.
  2. Settings:
  3. Custom buttons:
  4. Newsfeedinternal messages are published here.
  5. "Recently viewed" to show the latest publications you have worked with
    "New content" lists the last uploaded publications in the app.
  6. Sync(hronization): will update your app when needed.
  7. Search: pull down the page to display the search bar and start typing.
  8. Menu buttons: will lead you to the libraries, your favorites and interaction insights (Account Hub activity and your own Analytics).
  9. Internal switch: to hide or display internal / confidential documents


To view all content you have access to, click on the libraries-icon:

You'll see all accessible libraries listed on the left. 
For the selected library, you'll see the publications divided in collections on the right side of the app:

  1. Home button: to go back to the landing page.
  2. Show/Hide libraries: press this button to show or hide the list of libraries.
  3. Favorites: select publications to add to your favorites library. Discover more...
  4. Share publications via Account Hub: select publications to send by Account Hub to your customer. Discover more...
  5. Share publications via email: select publications to send by email to your customer.
  6. Sync icon: While the app is syncing, you will see the icon turning. You can press the icon to start the sync and update your content manually. 
  7. Cover of the publication: tap it to open the publication. (Remove a downloaded publication by pressing the cover of a publication for 2 seconds and click "Remove content".) 

When you tapped a cover, the publication will open and the publication toolbar will be displayed:

  1. Return to the landing page of the app

  2. Close the publication and return to your libraries overview

  3. Share the publication via Account Hub: Add it to the Account Hub and then send the Hub to your customer when you have added all relevant content

  4. Share the publication via email: Add it to an email and then send it to your customer when you have added all relevant content

  5. Show thumbnails to quickly jump to other pages

  6. Open the history which will give you an overview of the previously visited publications (visible once you have opened more than one publication)









  7. When your enterprise has a CRM integration setup, you'll see the customer icon to start a session with a selected customer


PDF documents have a few additional buttons:

  1. Return to the landing page of the app

  2. Close the publication and return to your libraries overview

  3. You can search for any text in your PDF, the search function will highlight the text inside the document.

  4. Share the publication via Account Hub: Add it to the Account Hub and then send the Hub to your customer when you have added all relevant content.

  5. Share the publication via email: Add it to an email and then send it to your customer when you have added all relevant content.

  6. Double or single page view. Easily switch from page view via this button.

  7. Show all available PDF annotations to edit the PDF document. (These annotations will be sent when you share the document after making the annotations.)

  8. Open the history which will give you an overview of the previously visited publications (visible once you have opened more than one publication)



  9. When your enterprise has a CRM integration setup, you 'll see the customer icon to start a session with a selected customer

  1. Add comments
  2. Highlight important text
  3. Strike through text for quick feedback.
  4. Underline text
  5. Add your signature on any document in a few taps.
  6. Draw on any PDF 
  7. Erase your annotations
  8. Add your own text
  9. Draw shapes
  10. Move an annotation  
  11. Close the annotations view

You can save the annotated PDF to an Account Hub or send it by email (if enabled by your admin). 
 

2. Smartphone

Once you've logged into the app, you will arrive on this landing page:

Where you can find the key publications right under the blue menu bar and the newsfeed on the rest of the screen. Clicking on a key publication or a news article will open up the details.

When you swipe to the right, you will also find the recently opened publications and the newly added content:

With the menu bar, you can go to the

  1. Libraries overview
  2. Settings
  3. Search function
  4. Interaction insights (Account Hub activity and your own Analytics).

When you tap the library icon, you will see all available libraries.

Click on the library name that you want to open.

Swiping to the right will lead you through the different collections of this library. 

If you want to go back to the landing page, you can click on the enterprise logo at the right top.
The "internal switch" underneath the names of the collections will hide or show the internal / confidential publications. 

At the bottom of the screen you can open up your favorites or send publications towards customers via the Account Hub or via email. The sync button at the right will sync the content when the app is launched. If you want to sync manually, you can always press the icon.     

 

When you've tapped a cover to open the publication, you'll see the publication and the publication toolbar:

  4. Add the publication to the Account Hub and send the Account Hub to your customer

  5. Show the thumbnails to quickly jump to another page of the publication

  6. History: Show an overview of the previously visited publications to switch to a publication you already opened for this customer.

PDF documents have a few additional buttons:

As a note:
In the Android app there is no PDF annotations-button. To annotate a PDF there, you need to "long press" the screen to call up the annotations:

3. Web

Once you've logged in to the Web App, the landing page will appear.

Where you can find:

  1. Open a side panel to quickly jump to other pages 
  2. Browse through the pages
  3. Zoom in or out
  4. Change the page layout or rotate pages
  5. Change the page fit
  6. Search inside the document
  7. Go to full screen modus for the publication
  8. Print

You can save the annotated PDF to an Account Hub or send it by email (if enabled by your admin).
