How do I start? 
In this support article you will find a step-by-step guide on how to create your newsfeed message. 

First, you go to the ‘Communication’-menu in the admin portal. There you can choose the option ‘Newsfeed’ so that a pop-up appears to fill in all details of the message you want to create for your colleagues.  

What is the result?

Why setup an end date?
You can upload documents that are there to last forever but what about a pricing list, a temporary promotion or an update of a product.  
If you already know the end date of your publication’s life, you don’t have to put a reminder in your calendar. You can define an end date in the admin portal straight away, making sure the publication will no longer be available for your users from that day on. 

How do I start? 
In this support article you will find a step-by-step guide on how to enter an expiry date for your publication. 

First, you go to the relevant publication in the content overview page of the admin portal. There you can open the settings and fill in an expiry date and time:

What is the result?  
Your colleagues can work with this publication as they did before, right until the expiry date has arrived. From that moment on, the publication will no longer be visible in the app.  
In the admin portal, the publication will stay put so that you can still consult and manage it as enterprise admin and all analytics are saved.

Why use responsive design 
Different devices have different screen sizes. When using the same presentation on different tablets or working remote and presenting with your computer, it can lead to grey banners at the left and right hand side of your beautiful slides.  

When using the ‘Responsive Design’-function your presentations will be nicely presented on all devices possible. 

How do I start? 
In this support article you will find a step-by-step guide on how to start the creation of your presentation. 

First, you’ll need to select the slide size ‘On-Screen Show 16:9’Next you can go to the ‘General Options’ in the d!nk plugin and activate the checkbox ‘Enable Responsive Design’.  

What is the result?  
In your PowerPoint presentation you will now see colored lines for the different screen resolutions. The green square will be visible on the largest screens (size 16:9) and the red square on iPad (size 4:3).

Whenever presenting the result in the app, the lines will no longer be displayed; only the input that is relevant for the screen resolution you are working with 

To make sure the presentation is usable for all your colleagues, make sure the text and buttons are inside the smallest square and the design continues for the largest screen size. Which will result in the below example for an iPad and Windows device:

Why a graph
With the graphs you can demonstrate in a visual attractive way where your product is situated in the market, or how your customer is doing compared to national or even global data. On top of that, you can easily adapt the numbers on the spot with the interactive fields – that are linked to the graph – making sure the input is relevant for your customer.  

How do I start? 
In this support article you will find a step-by-step guide on how to start creating your graphs, with the d!nk elements.  

First, you’ll need to create the input fields – to base your graphs on – by using open questions, multiple choice or a slider bar. Once you have those ready, you can define the setup and details of your graph.

What is the Learning App?  
The Learning App is an addition to the SalesMatik App that you are already using today. With it, you can integrate all learnings into the busy sales life. No longer making learning and training separate and time-consuming activities 

You can use it to 

  • Onboard new sales reps fast and streamlined, avoiding waisted time on self-discovery and from other colleagues.  
  • Keep all sales up to speed in an ever-changing environment. 
  • Do learning on the go, matching the busy sales calendar. 
  • Reward sales reps that are increasing their knowledge. 

How do I start? 
If you want to activate this add-on for your enterprise account, you can reach out directly to my colleague Jan Dheedene via jan.dheedene@dink.euHe will tell you all about the possibilities and conditions to get you started.  

What is the result?  
Tailor-made learning plans with courses to train the sales reps on new products or solutions and to keep them up to date about campaigns, processes, technical information or sales tricks.  

With two different type of learning plans available, it is possible to define a specific order with conditional testing or allow the ‘student’ to pick any course as a refresh right before entering a meeting.

Why use the Slide Master? 
When you want your slides to contain the same fonts, images and logos you can set this all up in one placethe Slide Master. While creating slides in your presentation afterwards, you can easily select the relevant lay-out that appliesSaving time and making sure all slides are consistent.  

How do I start? 
To open the Slide Master in PowerPoint, click on the ‘View’-tab in the top menubar and click the Slide Master-button in the Master Views section 
 
In this menu you will now find the Slide Master (1and the Layout Masters (2) 
When you edit the Slide Master, all slides that are based on it will contain the changes. A setup that is specific for multiple but not all slides can be done in the Layout Masters.

Why would I create an online Video Library?
Maybe some of your products require quite extensive explanations that are better given with a video - and whenever your customer has the time - instead of going through all details during a meeting. Or perhaps there’s quite a distance between yourself and the location of a customer so that it would be handy to have an online environment with all info gathered in multiple videos, making sure those customers are always up to date as well.
Both very good reasons to start creating an online Video Library, only accessible by the audience you choose. 

How do I start?
You create an Account Hub via the SalesMatik app by selecting the videos that you want to share. If not all videos are available in the app, you can also add additional videos from your device when creating the mail. It is then possible to send out the link to a general address on your end and forward it to any contact wanted. Or you can add all recipients that should have access directly when creating the Account Hub. 

With the settings of your enterprise account, you can secure the documents with a login if needed. Again here, you can choose to have one login that you pass around or work with a personal login, based on the mail address of your contact. 

What is the result?
You now have an online library with all relevant videos, that is only available for your selected customers. 

Your customers can now check the information via a direct link, whenever they have the time or need for it.

How do I start?
You can install the app on your computer with this direct link for your Apple or Windows pc.

What is the result?
When you are sharing your screen in the online meeting application, you can also work with the SalesMatik app in the same way as you would when being onsite with your customer to show relevant info and benefits on the spot.

How do I start?

What is a custom button?
Custom buttons are shown top right on the home screen of the app. They are shortcuts to open external applications, webpages or a specific publication - making sure your sales colleagues find everything they need, right there in the app.

Custom buttons are created by the enterprise admins and will be assigned to user groups, showing only the relevant ones for each user.

How do I start?
By logging in to the Portfolio Manager and opening the settings of the enterprise. There you can create the custom buttons in the ‘General settings’-menu underneath the ‘App settings’. In this support article you will find a step-by-step guide on how to get there.

What is the result?
Instant access to other useful apps, webpages or important publications.

What is a Client App? 
It allows you to make for example brochures, quizzes or FAQ-lists digitally available for your clients.
By doing so, 

  • your clients can view the content anytime and anyplace on their mobile device,
  • you can easily make updates and make sure all your clients are using the most recent version,
  • you can use interactivity to spice up your content,
  • you can track how many of your clients are actually reading the content and find detailed information about the most viewed pages. 

How do I start?
A Client App is a variant of the SalesMatik app, custom made for you. If you want to have one created, you can reach out directly to our Project Manager and Client App specialist Sofie Dirx (sofie.dirx@dink.eu). She will tell you all about the different possibilities and help you define your specifications.

What is the result?
The Client App - branded to your specific needs - can be made available in the App Store, Play Store and Microsoft Store where your clients can easily find and download it.
Your client can open the app straight away, no login needed. And because of the user friendliness, the client doesn’t need any training to use the app.

What is a confidential publication?
If you don't want all your publications to be visible for customers, you can make them confidential.
The sales rep will then be able to view the publication as preparation for his meeting but when the meeting starts, the publication can be hidden.

How do I start?
By logging in to the Portfolio Manager and opening the settings of the relevant publication via the dropdown. In the settings you can change the ‘Availability’ from “Public” to “Confidential”.

What is the result?
When activating the ‘Internal’-switch the confidential publications will become visible, with a red ribbon to emphasize the confidential aspect:

What is a key publication?
Key publications are shown in the left bar, on the home screen of the app. They are shortcuts to open the publication directly from the home screen. The ideal location for often used and important publications:

No need to dive into the libraries and collections but the instant possibility to open the publication. Key publications are chosen by the enterprise admins and are the same for all users that have access to that publication.

How do I start?
By logging in to the Portfolio Manager and opening the settings of the relevant publication via the dropdown. In the settings you will have the option to activate the slider ‘Key Publication’ in the tab ‘Advanced’. In this support article you will find a step-by-step guide on how to get there.

What is a benefit simulator?

What is a library icon?
When creating libraries, you can name them so the users know what they’re about but you can also add an icon to each library to make it more visual for your users.
The icons will be placed in front of the library names:

By logging in to the Portfolio Manager and opening the existing libraries or by creating a new one. In the settings of each library you will have the option to add images.
